We have ordered two of these in the past few years. Specifically to create time capsules for our kids. The second box arrived with the lid so warped it would not even close. We asked for a replacement, which was immediately sent, with no issues. They are not heavy duty containers, but you could probably reinforce the corners if you wanted. I added bank type locks for fun on mine.
